Love it or Leave it
The story of a satisfied customer is a story well worth sharing with your potential clients. Hearing another customer endorse your service is far more valuable than the endorsement of the salesperson. This video has been shown at conferences and talks around the greater Melbourne area and has resulted in numerous new clients for Love it or Leave it.
This is the story of Robyn, the founder of Love it or Leave it. This video helps potential clients connect with Robyn (the founder of Love it or Leave it) on a personal level. This is very helpful for her downsizing business, as downsizing is often a very personal task, sorting through a lifetime of sentimental items and memories.
Australian Centre for Rural Entrepreneurship
This is a call to action video I made for the Australian Centre for Rural Entrepreneurship (ACRE). It was for the launch of a campaign in which they had written a rural social enterprise manifesto and were on their way to presenting said manifesto to the United Nations. They needed support to show that the manifesto addressed relevant and impactful issues which is where this video came in. This video was directly responsible for 8 different organisations joining the cause and indirectly responsible for countless others.
This is the hero story of Lana De Kort, an entrepreneur based in Clunes, Victoria. She’s made a big difference in her community and was supported by ACRE in doing so. A story like hers, when captured on video, can bring in funding, new partners, new clients and new opportunities.
Social Enterprise Schools
This is a video I made for Social Enterprise Schools (SES) who wanted to tell the story of their young entrepreneurs. They had organised a student pop-up shop at the Vic Market as a way for them to sell their products. The students had created a product through the SES Student Entrepreneur program and had then chosen a social cause to support with the profits of their business.
Rocket Seeder
This is the story of the start ups who attended one or Rocket Seeders programs. Rocket Seeder is an organisation that supports start-ups in the agricultural sector to secure funding from investors. This video supported several start-ups in securing funding as well as functioning as an advertisement for Rocket Seeders programs.
Professional Migrant Women
This is the story of how Professional Migrant Women (PMW) supported these women in entering the workforce in Australia. PMW is an organisation that supports migrant women who are having trouble entering the workforce in Australia in getting a job that suits their qualifications. This was shown at an anniversary event as an impact statement video in front of potential investors and government officials.
2009
I also make more creative videos if that’s what you have in mind. This is my most recent short film called “2009”. Set during the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires, a mother of two is forced to race against a fire to save her kids in a faulty, unreliable car. It’s worth noting that (due to various constraints) this is was made with a budget of $0 and was filmed entirely in one day.
